About us

Built for the gap between the call and the curb

Respondr exists so mobile crisis teams can run intake, CAT dispatch, field status, and handoff on one thread — without replacing the clinical systems they already use.

Who we are

Respondr builds mobile crisis operations software for city, county, and state behavioral health teams. We focus on the thread that runs from a 988 or local crisis-line call through CAT team dispatch, field assessment, and warm program handoff — so coordinators, clinicians, and supervisors stay on the same episode without living in a side spreadsheet.

Why we started

Mobile crisis is asked to move at the speed of a live call, but the tools teams often get are an EHR, a radio, and a patchwork of lists. Intake context stays on the phone. Dispatch lives elsewhere. Field status is verbal. Follow-ups and handoffs fall through the cracks between the call and the curb. We started Respondr to give those teams one operational workspace that matches how they already work — not another clinical chart.

What we believe

Crisis operations software should complement the systems you already trust for documentation and billing. It should be mobile-first for CAT in the field, clear for supervisors watching SLAs and stale cases, and honest about scope: we are not an EHR. Workflow, resources, and demo seeds should reshape in days when a county shares its protocol — so a walkthrough feels like your program, not a generic product tour.
